I O.K.– A Community Where Confidence Comes First
Just over a year ago, I started my Ninja Gymnastics and “I O.K.” programme at St. George’s British International School Munich with fewer than 10 children attending each week. After just one term, that number grew to over 50 children per week — and it has remained just as strong ever since.
Now, I’m expanding to both Bavarian International School campuses — Haimhausen and Leopoldstrasse — and the early response has been incredibly positive. It’s looking very promising that we’ll soon welcome just as many children at both new locations.
This journey has made me reflect on why children keep coming back. I believe it’s because my approach goes beyond physical movement — it connects with their hearts. I don’t just coach; I listen, laugh, and grow alongside them. These children aren’t just participants in a class — they’ve become my little best friends. Together, we build confidence, resilience, and joy.
That’s what the “I O.K.” philosophy is all about: creating a safe, supportive space where children can explore, express themselves, and develop — entirely at their own pace.
💬 What “I O.K.” Really Means
I own it. I keep trying. I’m okay being me.
This isn’t just a motto — it’s a mindset rooted in my own story. As a child, I was injured and never reached competitive gymnastics. But I never stopped moving. I kept training with joy, curiosity, and self-acceptance. That’s what shaped the “I O.K.” method.
In my classes, I help children to:
• Focus on their own progress — not on comparing themselves to others
• Build strength and resilience — without pressure or burnout
• Develop a love for movement — for life, not just for medals
⚖ Supporting School Sport — And Offering Something Different
Traditional school sports offer brilliant opportunities — but they aren’t the right fit for every child. Some need a different kind of space to truly thrive.
That’s where “I O.K.” comes in.
It’s not about replacing or competing with existing school activities — it’s about offering something that complements them:
• A space that prioritises emotional safety and self-worth
• An environment where effort is celebrated, not judged
• A welcoming community where children from different schools can connect and grow together
We organise fun, inclusive events like obstacle courses — not to determine winners, but to enjoy movement and celebrate participation, progress, and positivity.
✨ Why Children Progress So Quickly
Parents often ask, “How did my child change so quickly?”
The answer is simple:
In my classes, children feel safe.
When they feel safe, they try.
When they try, they grow.
And when they grow, they thrive — physically and emotionally.
It’s not a secret.
It’s a shift in philosophy.
💛 One Community. One Message. Many Schools.
As “I O.K.” expands to BIS Haimhausen and BIS Leopoldstrasse, my goal remains the same:
To create a shared, inclusive movement community where children are free to grow at their own pace, in their own way.
No matter their school, personality, or starting point — every child has a place here.
Because what I’m building isn’t just stronger bodies —
I’m helping nurture stronger, more confident individuals.

If your child would benefit from a space where they feel free to grow, try, and be proud of who they are — I’d love to welcome you.
